Choreography and Performance

My choreographic work spans across a range of styles and formats, from improvisation scores to set dance material. I have created work for organizations such as MED Theatre, The Turning Tides Project, the South-West Dance Hub, Mass Hysteria Collective, Not Yet, and the Exeter CAT scheme, as well as collaborating with various freelance dancers on individual projects. I also regularly contribute to Robyn and Margaret Presents cabarets in London. I like to work playfully, incorporating props, and drawing on influences from contemporary dance, contact improvisation, clowning, theatre, and somatic practices. I aim to make work that celebrates the awkward, the unknown, and the ironic, creating dynamic, immersive experiences that engage deeply with the audience. My approach is also shaped by the environment, often responding to the unique qualities of a site-specific location.

Seated Dance for Wellness

Since 2023, I have been leading seated dance sessions with a focus on wellness, creative movement, and connection. I am passionate about being creative with what we can do in the chair. I've had the pleasure of hosting workshops in Moretonhampstead, Honiton, and Ottery St Mary, where I create a welcoming and supportive space for participants of all abilities.

These sessions combine fun and accessible choreography with music to improve mobility, boost mental well-being, and encourage physical activity. We have time for cups of tea and a chat afterwards too!

My approach is warm, encouraging, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, aiming for everyone to feel confident and empowered. Whether you're new to dance or seeking a low-impact workout, my seated dance workshops provide a joyful and effective way to move your body and have fun with others.
